At the annual meeting of heads of Ukraine’s foreign diplomatic missions, Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha announced the launch of a new Ukraine–Benelux cooperation format, bringing together Ukraine with Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
The event also included the announcement of a UNESCO ambassador position, ensuring Ukraine’s representation in the governing bodies of the international organization.
💬 "One of the goals of the Russian aggressor is Ukraine’s cultural heritage. We must protect and restore it. Ukraine must be represented in UNESCO’s governing bodies. Today, in the presence of my friend and colleague, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, I want to express my sincere gratitude for UNESCO’s support and activities, as well as assistance in restoring our cultural heritage", emphasized the Foreign Minister.
The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, Jean-Noël Barrot, attended the annual meeting as an honorary guest.
